New Fox Chase Attending Physician Focuses on Genitourinary Cancers

PHILADELPHIA (September, 2008) —Betsy Plimack, MD, has joined Fox Chase Cancer Center’s medical oncology staff as an attending physician. She treats patients with genitourinary cancers such as bladder, kidney, prostate and testicular cancers.
Plimack received her MD at New York University and served her internship and residency at NYU Medical Center and Bellevue Hospital.
She also held a fellowship in medical oncology at The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center, serving as chief resident. She also earned a master's degree in patient-based biologic research at University of Texas Graduate School of Biomedical Science.
